9th Annual FCG Callaway World Championship Recap

For this year’s 9th annual world championship, now called the FCG Callaway World Championship, has become FCG’s premiere invitational event. All participants must have earned an exemption or pre-qualified for this event, through numerous qualifiers and tournaments throughout the year. We are happy to be back at our new home for this event, The Westin Mission Hills, as it is ever-growing and the staff and facility are just awesome! This year we were on 6 different courses between the 10 divisions competing, with 7:30 shot-gun every morning to beat the heat with some fun activities after play. Sunday at the Westin was our fantastic welcome party with plenty of games and goodies for participants, as well as a presentation by Rick Sessignhaus “Golf’s Mental Coach”. Monday after first round of play, we had a our event at the PGA Superstore with more games and prizes as well as huge discounts on golf gear! Tuesday we had three awesome guest speakers all of whom were included in entry fee: Joe LoCascio who is a brain based performance coach, Alex Ching who discussed financial planning for college and Mike Bentley who developed Blast Motion.
