I’m probably over the top competitive… and I 
❤️ it. And everyday with my students I’m trying to teach them to be competitive too, with respect of course to all competitors. We need to produce winners in golf and life. I see way too many kids ok with mediocre. I’m not saying this about students new to the game but for those who are putting the time in and competitive, there is a winning mindset that has to be taught if it’s not in your DNA. Who of these kids will rise to the top? There are tens of thousands of junior golfers and how will you separate yourself? It starts in your mind. Build the skills, add more tools, increase the fire, and freaking go after it! 2nd place shouldn’t be ok to you.
