FCG President’s Message to this weekend’s Las Vegas Participants

Dear Players and Families,

Welcome to the 8th Annual Future Champions Golf Las Vegas Championship at beautiful Primm Valley Golf Club!  We appreciate you joining us at this amazing destination event and hope you have a great time this weekend.  This is one of our signature events on our annual calendar and we are pleased to host this event at this Tom Fazio gem.  We know many of you have come a long way to this event and we hope to exceed your expectations. Please note that this event is completely full on both courses and we need all players support to play ready golf and keep the pace of play moving at all times.

We would like to thank all of our Sponsors for this year’s event.  Without their support, we could not make these events extra special.  Please stop by and visit with Taylor from Blast Motion on the Putting Green today!  The technology is insanely good and we have special pricing available today for you to take one home with you!

Updates from FCG

  • FCG to celebrate our 10th Annual FCG International Junior Golf Championship that will take place July 2-7th at various courses in San Diego, CA. This is our flagship event and we anticipate a record 700 players this year from over 40 countries and all 50 US States.  We hope you can join us for this special event. Please contact us if you have any questions.
  • FCG Callaway World Championship being held July 17-19, 2017 will be double the size of last year’s event from 225 players to 450 players and we couldn’t be more excited about this event. With Callaway’s support, the Westin Mission Hills Resort, our Partner Courses in Palm Desert, and the many associations and tours around the world for hosting qualifiers, we will expedite this event to one of the most sought after and high demand junior golf tournaments annually. We are thrilled to host the Girls 15-18 on the Dinah Shore Course which is annual host to LPGA ANA Inspiration Major Championship and LPGA Q-School.  The Boys 15-18 will play at the Classic Club, former host of the PGA Tour Bob Hope Event.  The younger players ages 7-8 to 13-14 will play at various amazing venues at Mission Hills.
  • FCG continues to build a strong following of College Coaches Nationwide. More players are being recruited from our Tour than ever before and we are so excited for this development as this was the original goal of the Tour.  We want to provide a DIFFERENT WAY to get to College.  We feel the FCG World Series Events now are the premier series in junior golf.  Look at the fields, the energy, and the excitement about each of these events.
  • FCG Tour has teamed up with Blast Motion for the Blast Motion Cup series that features our next 4 Big FCG World Series Events featuring all age divisions. There is a fun point race that will end at the FCG Callaway World Championship at Westin Mission Hills July 17-19, 2017.
  • Next FCG World Series Event will be held at PGA West in La Quinta, CA on Memorial Weekend. This is a premier annual event on our schedule and the courses are host to PGA Tour Events and some Major College Events.  This event is open to all age divisions 7-8 to 15-18 and is the 2nd event on the Blast Motion Cup Race.

Thank you for your support of Future Champions Golf. We hope we are or become your favorite junior golf program.  Please provide feedback anytime.

Thanks again,

Chris Smeal, Founder of Future Champions Golf
