About Josh Nahm

I am truly excited to have the opporunity to work at Firekeeper Golf Course in Topeka, KS. It is one of the best courses I have seen and I know once people see the course they will fall in love with what it has to offer. Before moving to Kansas, I was the Lead Instructor at the Hank Haney International Junior Golf Academy in Hilton Head Island, SC.

At the HHIJGA, I have had the amazing opportunity to work with and learn from two of the greatest golf instructors in the world: Hank Haney, former instructor to Tiger Woods and over 200 other touring professionals and Peter Krause, top 50 instructor and 2006 P.G.A. Teacher of the Year. I have learned more from them about golf and life then I could have ever imagined. I have also had the privilege to work with some of the top junior golfers in the world. As lead instructor, I was directly responsible for the progress of all our junior golfers ranging in all skill levels. Every day I was responsible for implementing a plan to make sure these juniors are improving in all aspects of their games including full swing, short game and course management as well as monitoring their progress in fitness and mental training. I am also very proud of the life lessons that I taught them including hard work, dedication, honesty and personal responsibility.

Working at a golf academy gave me the opportunity to work with juniors that have great success on and off the golf course. Some of the accomplishments that these juniors have achieved are: AJGA All-American, Boys British Junior Am Champion, French Amateur Champion, Doral Junior Champion, European Junior Masters Champion and many AJGA tournament champions. As great as these championships are, I take just as much joy in watching one of my students come in as a novice golfer and leave after one year with a much improved golf game, a better understanding of hard work and a college golf scholarship.

In addition to working with juniors, I also worked at The Golf Academy at Sea Pines in Hilton Head. During this time I worked with adults of all skill levels during one, two and three day golf schools. I had the opportunity to work with people of all ages and skill levels as well as working with people that have disabilities.

I also work with tour professionals who play on the PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour, Canadian Tour, EGolf Tour, European Tour, Challenge Tour, Hooters Tour, National Professional Golf Tour, Tour,Futures Tour and others.
