Last weekend, the National Tour headed out to The Vineyard at Escondido. Located just north of beautiful Lake Hodges in North County San Diego, bordering the award-winning boutique Orfila Vineyard and Winery in the San Pasqual Valley agricultural preserve, The Vineyard at Escondido is approximately 30 minutes north of San Diego, just 5 minutes off Interstate 15. Their spectacular David Rainville-designed layout, exceptional tournament facilities, and friendly service makes them one of San Diego County’s best public golf facilities. Let’s see how they did:
For the Girl’s college prep division, we had Venecia Zaia from Murrieta, CA come in first with scores of 75 & 78 for a total 153, coming in second place was Kalita Laparojkit from Montelbello, CA with scores of 75 & 79 for a total 154 and coming in third place was Catalin Yturralde from La Mesa, CA with a scores of 82 & 75 for a total 157.
For the Boys college prep, we had a two-way tie at 3-over 143 between Xavier Casarez from San Bernardino, CA (74-69) and James Morris from Studio City, CA (73-70) that led to a sudden death playoff which was won by Casarez. And coming in third place was Robert Keilch from Newport Beach, CA with a scores of 72 & 73 for a total 145.
For the Girls 13-14, we had Irene Park from Rowland Heights, CA come in first with scores of 76 & 75 for a total 151, coming in second place was Isabella Ranches from San Diego, CA with scores of 76 & 79 for a total 155 and coming in third place was Tiffany Lin from Carlsbad, CA with scores of 82 & 75 for a total 157.
For the Boys 13-14 division, we had Arman Rahgozar from San Diego, CA come in first with scores of 75 & 72 for a total 147, coming in second place was Jacob Paule from San Diego, CA with scores of 71 & 77 for a total 148 and coming in third place was Chengfeng Xie from San Diego, CA with scores of 81 & 73 for a total 154.
For the Girls 12 &under division, we had Rodaylin Mina from San Diego, CA come in first with scores of 75 & 83 for a total 158, coming in second place was Natrada Pongsasin from Anaheim, CA with scores of 75 & 86 for a total 161 and coming in third place was Jaylen Wan from Pukalani, HI with scores of 101 & 91 for a total 192.
For the Boys 11-12 division, we had Justin Gill from San Marcos, CA come in first with scores of 76 & 75 for a total 151, coming in second place was Benjamin Singer from Del Mar, CA with scores of 85 & 79 for a total 164.
And rounding out our first with the youngest division of the weekend, the Boys 10 & under division, we had Kai Salinas from San Diego, CA come in first with scores of 89 & 86 for a total 175, coming in second place was Horry Ren from Del Mar, CA with scores of 90 & 96 for a total 186.
