Personal Statement: My name is Nicholas Desrochers. I was born in Las Vegas, Nevada and have lived here my entire life. I started playing the amazing game of golf at 11 years old and competitively at 12. The game has taken me through some amazing experiences and helped shape me into the man I am today. It has taught me respect, adequate, time management, and so much more. I have established a great love for this game that seems to grow stronger everyday. It has taught me so many life lessons but the most important is that it’s the shot in front of you that matters, nothing else. I believe this in golf and in life. I have continued to work hard everyday at this game and will continue because this is a game I truly love and am passionate about. Results have shown and I believe will continue to improve as time goes on with my work ethic. I have dreams and goals to be the best one day and that is a goal I believe I will achieve.
