Less than 50 miles south of our sunny San Diego, many people are living in a completely different world. A world filled with poverty, hunger, and homelessness. While we live such fortunate lives, and are even lucky enough to play the sport we love each day, the people of Tijuana and refugees removed from Haiti are spending their days focused on simply surviving.
This holiday season, the team at FCG would like to ask your help in our philanthropic effort to aide those in need.
We want a part to help the hundreds in need by providing the simplest of necessities. Most items may be hand-me-downs or can even be found at your local discount store:
Blankets, pillows, socks, shoes, hygienic supplies (hair brushes, soap, shampoo, razors, baby wipes, deodorant, band-aids, etc), clothes, school supplies, feminine products, diapers, towels, wash cloths, flashlights, candles, zip-lock bags, toilet paper, clean water… etc…
Contributions are accepted at FCG headquarters (Stadium Golf Center) as well as all upcoming tournaments through Christmas time. This is a great opportunity to help others and instill the importance of giving back in our future champions. Thank you in advance for your contribution! Play smart and happy holidays!
