Future Champions Golf Kids Tour at Loma Club

This past weekend finds Future Champions Golf at the Loma Club with our younger age divisions. With beautiful weather and our FCG Staff dressed the part, these kids kicked off their Halloween in style with some excellent golf.

First in the books is the Boys 11-14 division. Leading the pack and taking home the win is Nic Jensen from Las Vegas who shot 33 (+6). Finishing in second place, only a few strokes behind the leader is Christopher Liu from La Jolla who totaled 36(+9) after 9 holes. Taking third place after shooting 37 (+10) is Ryan Marshall from San Diego. Congratulations to all our finishers, we look forward to having you at the next Kids Tour event.

Next in the books is our Boys 6 and under division. Evan Liu from La Jolla would finish in first place after shooting 38 (+11) after 9 holes. Finishing just behind Liu in second place from San Diego is Sage Brandon after he shot 46 (+19). Congratulations to all our finishers, we look forward to seeing you at our next Kids Tour event.

Third on the leaderboard is our Boys 7-8 division. Taking home the victory is Ace Pascual of San Diego, who shot 33(+6) after 9 holes. Finishing in second place, just behind the leader, is Thomas Browning of Carlsbad who shot 34(+7) for the tournament. Lastly, taking home the third place trophy after winning the card-off is Dale Swartwood of San Diego who would shoot 36(+9). Congratulations to all finishers in this division, we look forward to having you at the next Kids Tour event.

Next up on our champion spotlight is the Boys 9-10 division. Coming in first place after winning in a card-off, is Kai Salinas of San Diego after he shot 32(+5). Tied with Salinas but just falling short in the card-off is Antonio Barbosa from Chula Vista who shot 32(+5). Our third place finisher is Ryan Vo from San Diego who would shoot 36(+9) after 9 holes of play. Congratulations to all our finishers on your excellent play, we look forward to seeing you at the next FCG Kids Tour event.

The Girl 11-14 division is next up in our champion’s spotlight. Finishing in first place after shooting 36(+9) for 9 holes is Muzi Wei from La Jolla. Coming in second place is Carissa Freeman from La Mesa who shot 39(+12) for the tournament. Lastly, our third place finisher, after finishing with a 40(+14) for the tournament, is Sofina Firouzi of Rancho Santa Fe. Congratulations to all finishers in this hotly contested division; we look forward to seeing you all at the next Kids Tour event.

Our Girls 6 and under division is the next one to be showcased. Coming in first place after shooting 37(+10) is Zoe Salinas from San Diego. Emma Molina of La Mesa would take second place after shooting 40(+13). Third place goes to Isabella Itkin from La Jolla who would shoot 42(+15) after 9 holes. Finally, in fourth place is Janette Dunn from Escondido who would shoot 44(+17) for the tournament. Congratulations to all finishers in the division, we look forward to seeing you at the next Kids Tour event.

The second to last division to finish is our Girls 7-8 division. Our champion is Cooper Gilmore from La Jolla who would shoot 40(+13) for the tournament. Finishing in second place is Liliana Ola Davis of Chula Vista after shooting 41(+14) for 9 holes. Summer Schafer of Ramona who shot 42(+15) would take home the third place. Congratulations to all finishers in this division, we look forward to having you at the next Kids Tour event.

Winding down our finisher spotlight is our Girls 9-10 division. Finishing in first place after shooting 34(+7) is Cammin Sykeo from San Diego. Sky Pascual of San Diego would take home the second place award after shooting 35(+8). Finally, our third place finisher is Sienna Duggan of San Diego who would shoot 39(+12). Congratulations to all finishers in this division and good luck at your next event.
