PRESS RELEASE
Expanded alliance connects junior golfers across the USA, United Kingdom, Europe, and Asia through major championships, international qualifying opportunities, season-long points competitions, and college golf recruiting.
SAN DIEGO, CA / UNITED KINGDOM — October 2026 — Future Champions Golf (FCG) and the British Junior Golf Tour (BJGT) are excited to announce an expanded global partnership designed to create more opportunities for junior golfers to compete internationally, earn championship invitations, and pursue their dreams in golf.
Building on a successful collaboration spanning several years through the BJGT / FCG European Open Championship in Italy, the organizations are strengthening their relationship through new reciprocal championship pathways connecting players across the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, and Asia.
The expanded partnership will provide new opportunities for junior golfers to qualify for prestigious international championships through their performances on the FCG and BJGT Tours, while also introducing additional college golf recruiting resources through Campus.
New International Championship Pathways
Through the expanded alliance, BJGT will host qualifying events for the 2027 FCG Callaway World Championship in Southern California, beginning with its final event of the 2026 season.
In return, FCG players will have new opportunities to qualify for two major European championships through the FCG Tour Points system.
2026 FCG Fall Season Points — World Junior Golf Championship in Spain
Top-performing players in the 2026 FCG Fall Season Points standings will earn invitations to compete in the Daily Mail World Junior Golf Championship, organised by BJGT in Spain, February 22–26, 2027.
BJGT has proposed a minimum of two invitations per boys’ and girls’ age division, with final allocations and selection criteria to be confirmed before the end of 2026.
2027 FCG Spring Season Points — BJGT / FCG European Open Championship in Italy
Top-performing players in the 2027 FCG Spring Season Points standings will earn invitations to compete in the BJGT / FCG European Open Championship in Italy, July 26–30, 2027, with final allocations and selection criteria to be confirmed before the end of June 2027.
The European Open will also welcome junior golfers from around the world through open registration, providing another outstanding opportunity for international competition.
These new pathways will reward consistent performance throughout the FCG season while giving junior golfers even more reasons to compete, improve, and pursue championship opportunities around the world.
With FCG’s rapidly expanding international network, both organizations are also exploring additional championship opportunities for players from China, elsewhere in Asia, and other participating countries.

A Shared Commitment to International Opportunities
“We are delighted to be strengthening our partnership with Future Champions Golf, as we fully believe that players on both sides of the Atlantic can benefit from the increased opportunities and information afforded by this exciting collaboration,” said Steve Adams, BJGT Director.
“We have always believed in providing opportunities and pathways for players to experience high quality, professionally organised events all over the world and the FCG shares the same ethos, so we are looking forward to seeing more FCG players compete on European soil in 2027 and beyond, especially at our World Championship in Spain and European Open in Italy! Likewise, we look forward to sending more BJGT juniors to California to test themselves in FCG’s prestigious events.
“We also see education as vital to a player’s development, on and off the course, so always strive to provide the best, impartial information possible to our tournament families — adding CAMPUS to our list of partners truly enhances this.”
Connecting Junior Golf to College Opportunities Through Campus
Beyond tournament competition, the partnership will also expand educational opportunities through Campus, the college golf recruiting platform designed to connect junior golfers with college coaches and help families navigate the recruiting process.
BJGT will introduce Campus to its tournament families as an additional resource for players interested in pursuing college golf opportunities in the United States.
Campus provides junior golfers with the ability to build their own recruiting profiles, showcase tournament results and swing videos, research colleges, and connect with college golf programs.
The organizations are also discussing a special online college recruiting educational session featuring Campus and U.S. college coaches during the World Junior Golf Championship in Spain in February 2027.
The goal is to provide international players and their parents with greater access to recruiting information, educational resources, and a clearer understanding of the opportunities available through American college golf.
Together, FCG, BJGT, and Campus are expanding the connections between tournament competition, international experiences, and education—giving junior golfers more opportunities to shape their futures through the game.
