FCG Temecula Academy Director: Blake Petchel
Blake Petchel brings a unique perspective to the FCG Academy, having experienced the junior golf journey firsthand as an FCG Tour player before continuing his career at the collegiate level.
Blake grew up competing in junior golf tournaments and was a standout player at Murrieta Valley High School. He competed extensively on the FCG Tour, including the FCG So Cal Championship, FCG International Championship, and FCG National Championship, before earning the opportunity to play Division I golf at Cal State Fullerton.
Today, Blake is a professional golf instructor serving players throughout the Temecula and Murrieta area. With more than 20 years of experience in competitive golf, along with experience in college coaching and professional caddying, Blake brings a wealth of knowledge to his instruction.
At the FCG Temecula Academy, Blake focuses on helping junior golfers develop their skills, confidence, course management, and competitive mindset. His own journey through junior golf and college golf gives him an understanding of what it takes to progress from a developing junior player to a competitive tournament golfer.
Blake is passionate about helping the next generation of golfers reach their goals while making the game fun, challenging, and rewarding.
