Future Champions headed back down to Santa Barbara for our Annual World Series event at Sandpiper which hosted over 80 players. Foggy conditions took place over the 1st day which caused a lengthy delay. Congrats to Easton Phillips from Coronado, CA who had a hole in one on hole 11 on the first day. All Top 2 finishers from each division earn an exemption into the 2019 Callaway World Championship in July at Mission Hills.
Starting with our Girls 15-18 division, coming in 5th place is Abbey Schutte (78,75) and in a three way tie for second is Crista Izuquiza (76,74) from Coronado, CA, Millburn Ho from Scottsdale, Az (76,74) and Angela Heo (75,75) from Murrieta, CA. Winning the division is Chloe Carraway from Tustin, CA carding rounds of 70,76.
The Boys 15-18 division was a close match up coming down to the final holes, in 5th place from Mission Viejo, CA is Christian Schrodt (73,74). Coming in 4th place from Murrieta, CA is Taewoo Yu (72,73). Coming in a tie for 2nd place from Mesa, AZ is Jonnie Clark (73, 71) and from Arroyo Grande, CA carding rounds of 72,72 is Owen Avrit. Winning the division from Highland, UT shooting 71,70 is Zach Jones.
Our Girls 14 & Under division battled through tough conditions as Aadyn Long came in 5th place shooting 89,90. Lauren Pierce placed 4th with rounds of 86,90. There was a tie for second place with Brooklyn Millard carding rounds of 86,74 and Lauren Pham carding 85,85. Coming from Arroyo Grande,CA and winning the division is Isabella Gunasayan carding rounds of 84, 83.
In the Boys 13-14 division Sankalp Aswani came in 5th place carding rounds of 77,80. While in 4th from Trabuco Canyon, CA Mason Fundingsland carded rounds of 77,87. Coming in 3rd place from Murrieta, CA Gyutae Bak shoot rounds of 77,83. Coming in 2nd place from Murrieta, CA is Siin Kim carding rounds of 76,82. Winning the division from Highland, UT is Cooper Jones a with a solid performance of 77,80.
In the Boys 12 & Under division coming is 5th place place with rounds of 83,81 is Andre Chung. In 4th plane is Adithya Venkataragaven with rounds of 85,77. In 3rd place is Timothy Kelley with rounds of 77,79. In 2nd place with rounds of 78,77 is Jonathan Kelley. In 1st place from Santa Barbara, CA is Shams Jahangir-Arshad carding rounds of 76,69.
