A Global Game, One Destination: How Future Champions Golf Is Connecting the World Through Junior Competition
Junior golf has always been global at heart. Talent, passion, and dreams of competing at the highest levels know no borders. Over the past two decades, Future Champions Golf (FCG) has worked intentionally to reflect that truth—building not just tournaments, but meaningful pathways that help junior golfers progress to the next levels of the game.
Today, that vision is becoming a reality on a truly global scale.
Expanding the FCG Footprint Worldwide
FCG is proud to now offer competitive opportunities in 40+ countries, made possible through trusted partnerships with regional tours, federations, academies, and event organizers across the globe. These partners share a common mission: to provide elite junior golfers with access to high-level competition, clear development pathways, and life-changing experiences through the game.
From Europe and Asia to Latin America, Africa, and Oceania, junior golfers can now compete in FCG-sanctioned events closer to home—while earning the opportunity to take the next big step on the international stage.
One Destination Every Summer: Southern California
Each summer, the world of junior golf comes together in Southern California for two of the most significant events on the global junior calendar:
- The FCG International – the largest open junior golf event in the world
- The FCG Callaway World Championship – FCG’s premier global championship event
Both the FCG International and the FCG Callaway World Championship were officially recognized as Majors of Junior Golf—a significant milestone that reflects their global fields, competitive depth, and growing impact on player development.
A Clear Pathway to the Next Levels
As FCG has expanded globally, so has its commitment to helping families understand where junior golf can lead.
Through FCG’s newly launched Amateur and Professional Pathways, players and parents can clearly see how FCG events connect to:
- College golf recruiting
- Elite amateur championships
- Major amateur invitations
- Professional tournament exemptions
You can explore these pathways and recent tour updates here:
These pathways are not theoretical—they are built on real competitive opportunities, real exemptions, and real next steps earned through performance.
More Than a Tournament—A Global Experience
For many international families, traveling to Southern California to compete in an FCG event is about much more than golf.
It’s about:
- Competing against elite peers from around the world
- Gaining exposure to college coaches and recruiters
- Experiencing championship-level venues and professional tournament operations
- Learning independence, resilience, and confidence through travel and competition
Each summer, hundreds of players arrive not just to test their games—but to grow as athletes and individuals.
A New Global Ranking System Coming Soon
As FCG’s international presence continues to grow, we are excited to announce that a new global FCG ranking system will be unveiled soon.
This system is being designed to:
- Reflect performance across FCG events worldwide
- Create a unified global standard for competitive achievement
- Further strengthen FCG’s amateur and professional pathways
- Encourage global competition while rewarding consistent performance
The goal is simple: provide clarity, motivation, and opportunity for junior golfers around the world.
Built With Partners, Driven by Purpose
None of this growth happens alone.
FCG’s expansion is the result of strong relationships with partners who believe in collaboration over isolation and opportunity over exclusivity. Together, we are creating a system where talented junior golfers—regardless of geography—have a clear route to compete on one of the biggest stages in junior golf.
The Journey Continues
Junior golf is evolving, and so is FCG.
With opportunities now available in more than 40 countries, two globally recognized Majors of Junior Golf each summer in Southern California, clearly defined amateur and professional pathways, and a new global ranking system on the horizon, the future has never been more connected—or more exciting.
One global game.
One summer destination.
Endless opportunity.
