It is with great excitement that we announce the 2016 FCG International Junior Golf Championship, formerly known as the San Diego Junior Masters is now open for registration. The FCG International is now one of the largest “Open Events” in Junior Golf and is annually held the week prior to the IMG Academy Junior World Championship in San Diego. The event was founded in 2008 by FCG Founder Chris Smeal to be a perfect warm-up event for the Junior World. In its first year over 220 players competed in the event and it was a huge success on all levels. Since then FCG has been building this event as their premier annual event that is open to every competitive junior golfer age 5-18 in an effort to provide an amazing experience, and an opportunity to build lifelong friendships with kids from around the world. Annually over 650 players compete in the Championship held at 5 San Diego Golf Courses. The opportunities now that stem from this event include opportunity to qualify for IMG Academy Junior World, AJGA Exemptions, Golfweek Ranked, NJGS Ranked, FCG World Rankings sponsored by Callaway, and a whole lot more. We hope that the FGC International Junior Golf Championship is your favorite event in junior golf and we hope to see you this year at the Championship. 2015 Registered Players will receive fantastic tee gifts from our sponsors.
All 36 and 54-Hole FCG Event results are emailed directly to every USA College Golf Coach. This is a tremendous opportunity for you to showcase your skills. Annual the FCG International draws numerous College Coaches on the men and Women side.
