Kids Tour at St. Mark Executive Course

Future Champions Golf finds itself in San Marcos at St. Marks Executive Course for this weekend’s Kids Tour event. The tough little course provides exceptional greens and demands precision tee shots from all golfers while maintaining a degree of forgiveness for the beginners. The Boys 11-14 division took to the tee first and Justin Pak from Redondo Beach would come in for scoring after finishing with a 64(+6) to guarantee his first place finish. Second place was awarded to Jacob Paule from Chula Vista, CA after his round of 68(+10). Finally, Ethan Weissman from Carlsbad, CA would take home the third place award after shooting 73(+15). FCG Kids Tour Recap

The Girls 11-14 division is the next to come in, and we have a play off to decide the champion of this division. Kristian Wilmes from Carlsbad, CA and Kiana Glossner from San Diego would both shoot 73(+15), but Glossner would walk away the champion after defeating Wilmes in the playoff. Jiya Dalal from San Diego would shoot 74(+16) and is awarded the third place trophy. Congratulations to all players in the Girls 11-14 division, we look forward to your next Kids Tour event.

The next division to spend some time in the spotlight is the Boys 9-10 division. Yet another playoff for the champion’s award kicks off this divisions recap in style. Michael Geng from San Diego, CA and Bransen Briones from La Mesa, CA battled it out in the playoff after both boys shot 65(+7) on the day. Briones would take home the first place award after he prevailed against Michael Geng, who was awarded with the second place award for his efforts. Ethan Hong from Los Angeles is awarded the third place award after finishing the day with a 69(+11) and just beating Daniel Ho from Spring Valley in a card-off. Congratulations to all boys 9-10 division competitors, we look forward to having you at the next event.

Kids Tour Recap

Kayla Geng from San Diego, CA would lead the pack for the Girls 9-10 division after she shot 68(+10) and is awarded with the first place award. Phoebe Figuracion from Rancho Bernardo would shoot 70(+12) and takes home the second place award. Third place goes to Michelle An from Riverside, CA after she shot 75(+17) solidifying her third place finish. Congratulations to all players in the Girls 9-10 division. The Boys 7-8 division is the next one to be discussed in our champion spotlight of the Kids Tour event at St. Marks Executive Course. Quincy Costales from San Marcos would be the champion after shooting 32(+4) after nine holes of play on the tough course. Thomas Browning from Carlsbad, CA would shoot 33(+5) and takes the second place award home. Daniel Chazen from La Jolla, CA finishes off this divisions spotlight with a 34(+6) and is awarded the third place trophy. The Girls 7-8 Division is next up in our champion spotlight. We find Isabella Itkin from La Jolla, CA at the top of the leaderboard after shooting 37(+9) through nine holes of play. Second place was awarded to Summer Schafer from Ramona, CA after she shot 39(+11). Cooper Gilmore from La Jolla rounds out our top 3 after her round of 47(+19). The last boys division to be highlighted in our weekly recap is the Boys 6 and under division. Congratulations to Connor Szczechowicz from Chula Vista, CA on your victory after shooting 34(+6) after nine holes of competition. Magnus Shairer from Escondido takes the second place trophy after shooting 44(+16). Third place was awarded to Trenton Bascon from San Clemente, CA after he would shoot 47(+19). Congratulations to all boys in our Boys 6 and under division, we look forward to having you at the next FCG event. Adding the Girls 6 and under division in, Zoe Salinas takes home the championship trophy after shooting 43(+15) after nine holes of heated battle. Janette Dunn from Escondido, CA finishes in second place after playing well and shooting 47(+19). Congratulations to all finishers in our Girls 6 and under division, we look forward to your next Future Champions Golf event.
