FCG 1-Day Series 3.11.18 (WCQ Ages 13-18)

As summer is right around the corner, Future Champions Golf has created 1-day event for the Callaway World Championship which is held at Mission Hills July 16-18th of July. Also, with the year of expansion FCG decided to head down to Los Angles for this 1-Day qualifier. This past Sunday, it was held at the beautiful La Miranda G.C. as beautiful weather also called for low scores! We are thrilled to have KBS sponsor our 1-Day events as it provides players with a towel! As well as, the Top 2 finishers in each age division will earn a spot in the FCG Callaway World Championship. As players are trying to apply to get into the biggest event of the summer, this 1-day qualifier provides players the opportunity to earn an exemption. The tee positions are set to provide all players with the best course set up. The Boys 13-14 division played from the white tee marks (5,806-Par 70), Boys College Prep Blue (6,056-Par 70), Girls 14 & Under Red (5,652-Par 71), and our Girls College Prep Red (5,652-Par 71). Now lets get to some scores!


The Girls College Prep we had 1st place, Leeyen Rose Peralta card an round of 72 from Brea, CA. In 2nd place from Los Angles, CA is Cameron March with an round of 76. Coming in 3rd place, is Kailee Welch with an round of 77. Congratulations to these ladies they qualified for World Championship in July!

In this picture we have our Girls 14 & Under division and also the Boys 13-14! Starting with the girls we have Meghan Royal from Carlsbad, CA with an round of 83. Behind her is, April Liu from Aliso Viegjo with an round of 86. Turning to the Boys 13-14 division, in 1st place is Jake Bendetti coming from McKinney, TX with a low of 69! Behind him in 2nd place is Zachary Lenton with an round of 85 from Hercules, CA.

Lastly we have the Boys College Prep! Leading the group is Byung Kwon Son from Torrance, CA with an round of 71. In 2nd place we have a tie between Jordan Bingham (South Jordan, UT) and Milan Machaiah (San Diego, CA) who both carded an round of 79. As FCG rules and regulations breaks ties is either an playoff or a cardoff. In this case, an card off was determined and in which Jordan Bingham secured 2nd place and Milan coming in 3rd.
