The sixth annual FCG Boys and Girls Invitational is only a few short months away as August approaches. August 7-8 is the date to save, and Pauma Valley Country Club will be the host course for this wonderful event. Pauma Valley Country Club is a Top 100 course in the US and is laid out in a traditional Robert Trent Jones Sr. design. The golf course was opened for play on November 1, 1960 and within a few years televised golf matches were held featuring Arnold Palmer and Gary Player. The course plays just over 7000 yards with a handicap of 74.2 which demonstrates how accuracy takes precedent over distance out on the links. The beautiful mountains and Cleveland National Forest frame the Pauma Valley Country Club making the course even more picturesque.
The FCG Boys and Girls Invitational does require participants to qualify, but not to fear, all of the details will be laid out before you. In order to qualify players will need to play and finish in first or second place in one of the many National Tour events we offer during the year. Other invitations will go out to the top regional players, who will be selected by our tournament committee and the help of regional junior golf associations.
