Future Champions Golf had the privilege of hosting another kid tour event at the beautiful Welk Resort to play the fabulous Oaks Course. The weekend provided awesome weather which allowed players to focus solely on going low. Excitement was high with the fall series coming to a close players were looking to climb up the leaderboard in order for those coveted future champions points.

The boys 11 to 14 year old category had three players register for the event at Oaks Course and the competition was fierce. Daniel Zhao got hot on the back nine after making a double shot one under on his last 6 holes en route to shooting a solid 58 and first place finish. Aarav Chandra has been working hard on his game and a birdie on the seventh hole proves that good scores are on their way. A solid second place finish should motivate his efforts to get better at golf. Derek Yogi had five pars on his scorecard en route to a solid third place finish.
