Today the Kids Tour headed to Escondido, CA to play the Oaks Course at the Welk Resort! The Oaks Course is an 18-hole par three course is a non-intimidating, yet challenging golf course that is lined with beautiful 100 year-old oak trees, scenic fairways and superb greens. Now let’s see how our participants did:
First up for the Girls 13-14 division, we had Malia Matsuura come in first with a score of 69 and coming in second place was Catherine Gizzo with a score of 91.
For the Boys 11-12 division, we had lone soldier Vonn Hrnjak shoot 66 for his trophy.
In the Girls 11-12 division, we had Charlotte Cantonis come in first with a score of 70 and coming in second place was Jessica Zhang with a score of 72. There was a two-way tie for third place at 74 between Emilee Canepa and Ryan Purczynski, and FCG determines card-offs by back-9 low, with Canepa taking home the award. Pictured with them is Girls 9-10 division champion, lone soldier Annie Liu who shot 77 for her trophy.
In the Boys 9-10 division, we had Connor Szczechowicz come in first with a score of 59, coming in second place was Caden Matsuura with a score of 61 and coming in third place was Aidan Liu with a score of 63.
For the Boys 7-8 division, we had Jaden Nacional come in first with a score of 33, coming in second place was Enzo Taylor with a score of 36 and coming in third place was Dane Van Rowell with a score of 37. For the Girls 7-8 division, we had Lilian Zhao come in first with a score of 37 and coming in second place was twin sister Vivian Zhao with a score of 43. Pictured with them is Girls 6 & Under division champion Saili Senteno who shot 43 for her trophy.
