This past weekend finds Future Champions Golf at two separate golf courses in the San Marcos area with the Kids Tour Spring Series Opener being hosted at Reidy Creek Golf Course. Reidy Creek is a par 54 executive course with demanding tee shots and excellent greens. The Boys 11-14 division is the first to come in and finds Jacob Paule from Chula Vista our champion after shooting 63(+9) after 18 holes on the demanding executive course. Second place goes to Jared Vlchek from Chula Vista, CA who shot 64(+10), just a single stroke off the lead. Finally, Sam MacDorman from La Jolla, CA would shoot 67(+13) to guarantee a third place finish. Moving on to the Girls 11-14 division, we have Sasha Lisnevsky from San Diego, CA atop the leader board with an impressive 62(+8) ensuring her victory. Sofina Firouzi from Rancho Santa Fe, CA takes home the second place trophy after shooting 72(+18). Third place would go to Lauren Coast from Rancho Bernardo after shooting 78 (+24). Reidy Creek Golf Course provides an exceptional challenge for golfers of all levels, we hope that all players in the Girls 11-14 division enjoyed themselves and we look forward to having you at the next Kids Tour event.
Next up in our Kids Tour recap is the Boys 9-10 division. First place would go to William Ma from San Diego, CA after an impressive round of 56(+2). Michael Geng from San Diego, CA would take home second after shooting 58(+4). Third place ends up going to Ryan Vo from San Diego, CA after he shot 62(+8) on the tough little track in San Marcos. Fourth on our list is the Girls 9-10 division which has Kayla Geng from San Diego taking home the victory after she would shoot 63(+9) on the par 54 course. Michelle An from Riverside, CA would take home the second place award after shooting 64(+10) trailing by just one. Lastly, Phoebe Figuracion from Rancho Bernardo would shoot 72(+18) to take home the third place trophy. The Boys 7-8 division is the next group to get their turn in the limelight. Thomas Browning from Carlsbad, CA takes home the victory after shooting 31(+4) for 9 holes. Second place was knotted up between three players, but Kyle Jakubowski from Carlsbad, CA would take second place after winning in a card off and shooting 32(+5). Daniel Chazen from La Jolla, CA, who also shot 32(+5), takes home third after just missing out on the last few holes of the tournament. Next in the spotlight is our Girls 7-8 division which finds Isabella Itkin from La Jolla, CA as our champion after her round of 35(+8). Cooper Gilmore also from La Jolla, CA shot 39(+12) to take home second place. Third place went to Jessica Hudson from nearby San Marcos after shooting 40(+13). The final boys division to be covered is the Boys 6 and under division. Connor Szsczechowicz from Chula Vista, CA shot 32(+5) to take home the champions award. Second place would be awarded to Maximus Peek from Escondido, CA after shooting 43(+16) after 9 holes. Finally, Jeffrey Kim from San Diego, CA shot 45(+18) to solidify his third place finish. Congratulations to all players in the Boys 6 and under division.
The Last division to be covered in our Kids Tour Spring Series Opener Recap is the Girl 6 and under division. Tenley Decker from Murrieta, CA would take home the gold after shooting 41(+14).
