FCG Kids Tour Spring Series at Welk Resort Oaks Course

Future Champions Golf made its way out near Temecula for its Kids Tour Spring Series event at Welk Resort. The executive course offered exceptional greens with just the right amount of challenge and distance for our young competitors. The beautiful day displayed only a slight breeze which cooled down the players on this surprisingly hot day. Without further delay, let us continue onto the event recap.

Kids Tour Spring Series

11-14

The boys 11-14 division was the first to tee off and the first ones in to the scoring area. Jacob Paule shot 56(+2) and took home the championship award for his impressive display of golf. Second place was awarded to Jacob Zhang after shooting 63(+9). Finally, Chris Hanson shot 64(+10) on the day and was awarded the third place trophy.

The champion of this weekend’s Kids Tour event is Lucy Yuan after she shot 61(+7) on the tight course. Kristian Wilmes took second place after shooting 63(+9). Third place is awarded to Muzi Wei after her round of 73(+19) on the tricky Oaks course. Congratulations to all our 11-14 division players, we look forward to seeing you at the next FCG Kids Tour event.

9-10

The Boys 9-10 Division was led by Ryan Vo at the end of the tournament after his round of 62(+8). Jaiden Davis finished in second place after shooting 67(+13) on the demanding course. Third place was awarded to Kai Salinas after his round of 68(+14). Liliana Davis, our featured player in the Girls 9-10 division, shot 76(+22) and takes home the championship award for her efforts. Congratualtions to all players in the 91-0 divisions, we look forward to seeing you at the next FCG Kids Tour Event.

7-8

Next in the spotlight is the Boys 7-8 division. Taichi Okumura tore the course up with his round of 33(+6) after nine holes of play. Yu Ohashi, traveling all the way from Japan, shot 34(+7) nearly forcing a play off and took home second place. Lastly, Daniel Chazen, placed third just behind the two boys ahead of him after shooting 35(+8).

The Girls 7-8 division comes next in our champion spotlight. Isabella Itkin led the way after shooting an impressive 37(+10) on the tough little course. Cooper Gilmore played valiantly and took home the second place award after shooting 41(+14).

6 and Under

The Boys 6 and under really showed what they were made of today, as Aiden Dinani shot 32(+5) to win the first place award. Benjamin Itkin followed him in to take second place after shooting 52(+25).

The Girls 6 and under were the last ones into the books. Zoe Salinas became our champion after shooting 37(+10) winning the event by ten strokes. Tenley Decker took second place after shooting 47(+20). Third place was awarded to Janette Dunn who almost forced a card off for second place after shooting 48(+21).
