Personal Statement: I am a senior at El Capitan High School in Lakeside, California. I have a 3.8 GPA and am ranked 65 out of 347 students. I started golfing at the age of 6. I fell in love with the game and have been competing ever since. My dream is to go to college where I can compete as well as obtain a degree. High school golf was my opportunity to experience golf as a team sport. I enjoyed playing as a team and depending on each other. My goal is to continue my golf journey in college where I can be part of a team. The wonderful thing about golf is that there are so many opportunities and I can’t wait to see where it takes me.
