Personal Statement:
My goal is to play Division 1 golf at a University where I can be successful in both academics and golf. After college my goal is to play on the LPGA. I possess the qualities that make a well-rounded student-athlete. I am focused and determined to achieve my goals. I work hard and put in the time to improve my game. I have a bubbly and friendly personality. I like school and manage my time between studying and golf. Previously, I was nominated and won the 2017 SCPGA Giovanni Villani Sportsmanship Award. I was deeply honored to be recognized for my compassion toward my fellow competitors and for my outstanding attitude on the golf course. As a freshman, I was nominated as Rookie of the Year for our varsity high school team. I would make a great college teammate because I am fun to be around and care about my team. I work well with others and encourage my team mates. I always strive to do my best in everything I do. Throughout high school I have played on our varsity golf team. I am currently our top-ranked player. The last 3 years I also participated in the SDJGA Mary Cave Cup Team and have built many skills as how to work, improve, and have fun as a team. I am Vice-President of a non-profit organization called Youth Golf Alliance. We host events such as free golf clinics to introduce more kids to golf and to keep it fun.
