Future Champions headed back to Carlsbad for our 1st Annual FCG College Showcase presented by Club Hub at La Costa which hosted 80 players. Pristine course conditions but high winds and cold weather lead to a tuff test of golf both days. Top three finishers received sensors for all 14 clubs from Club Hub for stat tracking and data collection. Also all Top 5 finishers from each event earn an exception into the 2019 Callaway World Championship in July at Mission Hills.
The Boys 15-18 division was a close match up coming down to the final holes for the top spots on the leader board, in 5th place from Laguna Beach, CA is Caden McMacckin (74,76). Coming in 4th place from Mesa, AZ is Johnnie Clark (75,73). Coming in 3rd place from Carlsbad, CA is Matthew Pennington (78, 70) and in 2nd place from Encinitas, CA carding rounds of 70,77 is Jonas Appel. Winning the division from Jamul, CA shooting 72,74 is Shea Lague.
